| Description: |
The ever popular Burgman 400 proves that a two-wheeler can offer abundant luggage space if it’s intelligently designed. Under the seat there’s a huge 62 litre illuminated storage bay that can easily accommodate two full face helmets or an A3 size document case. Next to the main under seat space, there’s a smaller compartment that’s ideal for small personal items. Furthermore, the bodywork in front of the rider contains three lidded storage compartments, the largest of which at 10 litres is lockable and incorporates a DC power outlet for charging gadgets while on the move.
A light, rigid chassis is the key to great handling, so the Burgman 400’s underbone frame is built from large diameter, thin wall tubes that combine low weight with high resistance to flexing. For a stable, relaxing ride, the frame is complemented by telescopic forks with a generous 110mm of travel and by bike style link-monoshock rear suspension with adjustable preload. A large 14 inch font wheel further enhances the stability and helps the rider exploit the maximum bank angle of 43 degrees. The overall benefits are motorcycle levels of handling and exceptional manoeuvrability.
And now, with the introduction of the Burgman 400ZA there’s a new level of style, sophistication and specification with the additional benefits of; ABS, heated grips, large hand guards, passenger backrest, wood patterned instrument panel, titanium coloured wheels and a brown seat. Price TBC
